After working with Indian schools for three years the team at Morning Dew Technologies realized that it is still a long way to go before we could talk of the benefits of e-learning and technology in education without creating another digital divide. e-learning, online collaboration, school automation are hollow buzzwords without a system that could ensure that everyone will benefit equally. While some children can access online lessons and afford multimedia content, majority have never even received a colorful, glossy story book.

Having been at the wrong end of this imbalance as children, we decided to change track and do something about the more basic problems. OWOS is our first step in that direction.

We intend to release our first title in June 2010. Copies will be distributed to 5000 schools and libraries in India.
